Gruel and unusual punishment ] : a Pennsylvania Dutch
mystery with recipes by Tamar Myers
Book Number:RC 55000

Series:
Magdalena Yoder Pennsylvania Dutch mystery

Magdalena Yoder investigates the murder of Clarence Webber, imprisoned
locally, who dies of arsenic poisoning after eating grits from her Mennonite
inn.
Among the list of suspects are many women Clarence conned money and favors
from. Some strong language. 2002
I've read several of these books in this series. A great little book with great recipes. A light read. In this one, all the recipes have grits in them. To my surprise, I've had them all in one way or another.
Happy Reading,
Carla/TexasRed
